A fantastic Rock Springs destination in and of itself

I recently had the pleasure of staying in the Country West Motel in Rock Springs Wyoming. Part of a chain of motels with locations in Wyoming and Colorado, Country West Motel served my family and I extremely well – we found it to be the perfect blend between a rustic, all-American motel and a clean, modern hotel environment with all of the facilities one could need.

We visited the motel while travelling to see family in Rock Springs. As my immediate family loves the great outdoors – we live to boat, fish, and hike – we were informed that we should spend a few days to ourselves at the nearby Flaming George and Green River. Our first trip to Wyoming, we were blown away by the incredible sights and scenery, all located incredibly close to our Rock Springs Motel.

As I was travelling with a family, however, safety and comfort are my main priority. As many wayward road-trippers will know, motels in small American towns are not always a treat – bedbugs, antiquated facilities, and generally “dingy” rooms will await you at many roadside accommodations. Contrary to this, Country West Motel was an absolute dream. The facility had the hominess of an inn, but the clean and accommodating facilities of a hotel. The staff were especially incredible – upon learning of my family’s intention to do some outdoor activities, the concierge staff shared their own experiences of local activities, and suggested some particularly beautiful areas to check out. They were also great about suggesting restaurants and delivery places in the area to consider.

In the end, we had a great time visiting our extended family, but also, an unexpectedly amazing time on our own visiting the Country West Motel. I’d advise anyone in the area looking for a place to stay to please consider this wonderful accommodation!
