How to Help Americans Lose Weight
Getting America into exercising should be considered a national duty.
You cannot ignore psychology. People think the way they think. To change their mind will take time and effort. But it is easier when there are facts and figures to support you. It might even be easier if you can show scary pictures of the reality.
Nations are the same. Countries are made up of people. They, too, have their own wishful thinking and justified pride. America likes to think of itself as an “on the run” nation of people who work too hard to strive material comfort for ourselves and our family. So much is true. But what is “lost in the translation” are two things:
First, America as a whole is getting more overweight and many have passed the overweight threshold. Second, the assumption that the lower-income you are or the less educated you are the more the chances that you are or would become obese, is simply unfounded.
What those facts show is that America needs to go through a nationwide health club consulting program and it should become near-mandatory to provide gym consulting services for everyone. This is as good a time as any for Americans to start thinking about opening a gym business and get everyone in the neighborhood involved, whether they are obese or thin.
If you have question about “how to open my own gym,” or “how to start a fitness studio,” consult expert companies such as GymCrafters (www.gymcrafters.com).
A common misperception is that opening a health and fitness operation is capital intensive. Not necessarily. There are many wholesale gym equipment companies that either rent, lease, offer serious discounts or will willingly become a partner in your business.
